Baseball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss

The Quantico Warriors lost 15-3 to The Carmel School Wildcats on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Quantico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Dominic Sotelo also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Quantico has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for The Carmel School, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Quantico didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Fredericksburg V on the 23rd. As for The Carmel School, they are taking a road trip to challenge The New Community School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
