Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

Notre Dame Cristo Rey suffered their biggest defeat since December 27, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Academy of Notre Dame Lancers, falling 50-26. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 36-22.

Notre Dame Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Academy of Notre Dame, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Notre Dame Cristo Rey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-30 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 14th. Academy of Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
