Basketball Game Preview: West Lincoln Bears vs. Bogue Chitto Bobcats

The West Lincoln Bears will take on the Bogue Chitto Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Lincoln comes in on 11 and Bogue Chitto on three.

Last Friday, West Lincoln beat Loyd Star 48-40.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bogue Chitto). They breezed by Wilkinson County to the tune of 65-10 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

West Lincoln's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Bogue Chitto, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

West Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Bogue Chitto in their previous matchup on January 3rd, winning 43-31. Does West Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bogue Chitto turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
