While Susitna Valley's victory against Cook Inlet Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. Susitna Valley's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Susitna Valley now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Cook Inlet Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Susitna Valley and Cook Inlet Academy will both be playing Holy Rosary Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will head out to face the Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
