Argyle won the last time they faced Corinth and things went their way on Friday too. The Scots walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Riverhawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scots.

Argyle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 25-12, 26-24.

Kyleigh Dennis was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 18 digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Argyle was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Addy Cook and Madison Braim certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Cook had 15 digs, while Braim had 12 assists and six digs. Cook is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Argyle's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Corinth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Argyle has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Fort Edward on the 4th. As for Corinth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Granville on the 8th.
