Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 36th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers, falling 48-24. The Greyhounds lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in March of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 83-13 score last time.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Lisbon will welcome Boothbay at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. North Yarmouth Academy has already played their next game (against Sacopee Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
