Fort Walton Beach extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from SaRuan Newton. The Fort Walton Beach Vikings strolled past the Pensacola Tigers with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 45-31 thanks in part to Newton, who posted 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Fort Walton Beach's points.

Fort Walton Beach has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Pensacola, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Fort Walton Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 32-20 win against Rutherford on the 30th. Pensacola has also already played their next match, a 55-30 victory against Pine Forest on the 29th.
