It was a proper cat-fight when Rockingham County challenged Dudley on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Rockingham County, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Dudley from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. LIlI MACHUCA led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Rockingham County's win bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Dudley, they dropped their record down to 2-9-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Rockingham County will head out to face off against Northeast Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockingham County will be up against Northeast Guilford's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.81 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dudley, they will host Southern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
