Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

If Liberty was riding high fresh off their 68-28 takedown of Newport last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Liberty Lancers fell 68-57 to the Northwest Christian School Crusaders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-48 back in December of 2024.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Northwest Christian School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Liberty nor Northwest Christian School have any future games scheduled.
