Basketball Recap: Gladstone Comes Up Short

Gladstone lost against Rainier back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gladstone Gladiators were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the Rainier Columbians.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rainier, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Gladstone will take on Scappoose in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rainier, they will be home for the holidays to greet Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaston's defense has only allowed 22 points per game this season, so Rainier's offense will have their work cut out for them.
