Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

After flying high against Booker T. Washington on Thursday, Northwestern came back down to earth. The Bulls lost 3-0 to the North Miami Pioneers on Tuesday. The Bulls have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

While Northwestern had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Miami, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Northwestern will take on Hialeah Gardens at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
