Volleyball Recap: Ella Wilkie and Kate Smith Secure Win for Landrum

Landrum had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Berkeley Stags.

Leading Landrum to victory were Kate Smith and Ella Wilkie. Smith had 11 digs and one assist, while Wilkie had four digs and three aces. That's the most digs Smith has posted over her last six games. Millie Atkins also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Landrum's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Berkeley, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Landrum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Woodmont on the 6th. As for Berkeley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
