The Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Dallas Thunder at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. Legion Preparatory Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Dallas Thunder likes a good challenge.
Legion Preparatory Academy put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over Life Prep. The win was all the more spectacular given Legion Preparatory Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 49th in Texas, while Life Prep is ranked second in Kansas).
Among those leading the charge was Neenah George, who scored 16 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Evans, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Dallas Thunder ended up a good deal behind Lake Country Christian on Tuesday and lost 46-31.
Legion Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37 points. As for Dallas Thunder, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
