Softball Recap: South Albany Takes a Loss

After flying high against McKay on Wednesday, South Albany came back down to earth. The Redhawks came up short against the Dallas Dragons on Friday, falling 11-1. If the Redhawks were looking for revenge after losing 13-2 to the Dragons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Albany has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Dallas, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Albany will challenge rival Corvallis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dallas is set to face off against their familiar foe Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
