Volleyball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Takes Down Danville in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Tri-West Hendricks rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Danville Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

Finley Dakin had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Tri-West Hendricks was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Danville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Harper Drzakowski had 17 digs. Drzakowski has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Tri-West Hendricks' record is now 21-12. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

Tri-West Hendricks has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 18th. Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
