Football Recap: Edmond North Comes Up Short Despite Kaden Collins' Big Defensive Game

Edmond North lost against Norman back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies fell 35-25 to the Tigers. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even if they lost, Edmond North's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Norman's QB won't forget Kaden Collins anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Collins also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11. Edmond North got some further help from Rhodes Molenda: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Anthony Johnson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 109 yards and one TD for Norman. That's the most rushing yards Johnson has posted since back in September of 2024.

Edmond North's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norman, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Edmond North is taking a road trip to square off against Deer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norman, they will be playing at home against Jenks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
