Soccer Game Preview: South Mountain vs. Westwood

The South Mountain Jaguars will take on the Westwood Warriors in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

South Mountain came up short against Shadow Ridge on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The loss was the Jaguars' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Westwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Black Hawks out 3-2. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one goal.

Westwood pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for South Mountain, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.
