Football Recap: St. Michael's Warriors vs. Grapevine Faith Christian Lions
St. Michael was the 20-13 winner over Grapevine Faith Christian when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a blow against the Lions on Friday, falling 77-44. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (42), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, St. Michael's still got an impressive performance from Nico Anderson, who threw for 439 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score. This is the second loss in a row for St. Michael's and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
