After a string of five wins, Asotin's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Broncos are ranked 205th).

Asotin's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10.
