Basketball Game Preview: Barnesville Shamrocks vs. Indian Creek Redskins

The Barnesville Shamrocks are taking a road trip to challenge the Indian Creek Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-36, which was the final score in Barnesville's tilt against Monroe Central on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Seminoles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek came up short against Bellaire on Saturday and fell 56-48. While the Redskins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Big Reds 15-10 in the first quarter.

Barnesville's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Indian Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Barnesville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Indian Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win.
