Preview: Colfax Falcons vs. Amador Buffaloes
The Colfax Falcons will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Amador Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Colfax earned a 21-13 win over Bear River.
Malachi Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Amador had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They slipped by Argonaut 23-22 on Friday. The victory was just what Amador needed coming off of a 55-6 loss in their prior matchup.
Amador's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brad Blankenheim, who rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Michael Nunes, who gained 81 total yards and a touchdown.
Colfax has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Amador, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
