Basketball Recap: Sulligent Comes Up Short

Sulligent was the 77-56 winner over Fayette County when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sulligent Blue Devils fell 53-41 to the Fayette County Tigers on Tuesday. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sulligent's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Fayette County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sulligent will square off against South Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayette County, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fayette County Tigers challenge the Haleyville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
