Baseball Recap: Real Life Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Real Life Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 11-3 to the Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayden Muniz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Real Life Christian Academy is 4-2 when Muniz posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Shane Riley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Real Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they moved to 3-15 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Real Life Christian Academy will welcome City of Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they will challenge Merritt Island Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
