Baseball Game Preview: University Liggett Knights vs. Cass Tech Technicians

The University Liggett Knights will square off against the Cass Tech Technicians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (University Liggett 4, Cass Tech 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, University Liggett didn't have quite enough to beat Grosse Pointe South and fell 8-7. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cass Tech hadn't done well against Western International recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Technicians walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Cowboys.

University Liggett's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11-1. As for Cass Tech, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 40-11.
