Soccer Recap: Roxana Comes Up Short

Roxana lost against Staunton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Shells came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-1. Roxana have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Bradley Garrison, who's now up to seven this season.

Roxana's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Staunton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7-1.

Looking ahead, Roxana will challenge Metro-East Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Staunton, they will take on Pana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Staunton will be up against Pana's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
