The Robert C. Byrd Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Fairmont Senior, posting a 73-30 victory at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Martina Howe continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Carleigh Curotz, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Robert C. Byrd has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Fairmont Senior, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
