On Tuesday, Ashland-Greenwood faced Platteview in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Platteview Trojans. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Platteview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxon Adams out in front who went 6 of 9 en route to 16 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sully Vanosdall, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 15 points.

Ashland-Greenwood's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Platteview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
