St. Mark's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the Pingree Highlanders. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

St. Mark's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Pingree, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mark's will venture away from home to square off against Buckingham Browne & Nichols at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pingree, they will square off against Academy at Penguin Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
