Soccer Recap: Jay County Has No Trouble Against Peru

Jay County kept a clean sheet against Peru on Saturday. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of five yellow cards before it was all over.

Elias Mueller and Rockland Beiswanger scored all three of Jay County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Jay County now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Peru, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jay County will venture away from home to challenge New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peru, they will head out to square off against Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
