Basketball Recap: Life Christian Academy Falls to Master's Hand Christian in First Game of Season

Life Christian Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Master's Hand Christian Warriors by a score of 48-45. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Braedon Canuteson went supernova For Master's Hand Christian., dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. Canuteson has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Solomon, who posted eight points.

Life Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin Classical School at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Master's Hand Christian, they will challenge Rocket City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
