Terrell Robinson Delivers Best Effort of Season
Terrell Robinson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Baldwyn to the win on Friday. Robinson rushed for 131 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Smithville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Robinson. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Robinson saw the Seminoles), he rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Jakarius Taylor's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
On Friday, Thrasher had to settle for second even though Jakarius Taylor put up the best numbers he has all season. Taylor rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Taylor has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 20.6 rushing yards per game.

Baldwyn Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Marquez Davenport
Marquez Davenport was instrumental in extending Baldwyn's winning streak to seven on Friday. Davenport was dynamite, rushing for 18 yards.
Unfortunately for Smithville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davenport. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Davenport saw the Seminoles), he rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Mcgee Came Up Big in Thrasher's 42-20 Defeat
The second Thrasher player making an appearance here is Jayden McGee, and for good reason. He rushed for 121 yards on only 15 carries, and also threw for 111 yards on nine of 18 attempts. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards.
This season, McGee has averaged 100.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.4 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 96.5 rushing yards.
