Basketball Recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Knights vs. Powdersville Patriots
St. Joseph's Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 57-48 to the Powdersville Patriots.
Powdersville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaleel McGee, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave McGee a new career-high. Von Burton was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points.
St. Joseph's Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Powdersville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

As for Powdersville, they will face off against Christ Church Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Christ Church Episcopal will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Powdersville surely won't give up without a fight.
