Volleyball Recap: Richlands Takes a Loss

Richlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Onslow Stallions. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Southwest Onslow found their leader in sophomore Taylor Orr, who had 22 digs and two aces.

Richlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southwest Onslow, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Richlands had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
