Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia). They enjoyed a cozy 83-67 win over the Sealy Tigers on Monday. The Roughnecks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Despite the loss, Sealy still got an impressive performance from Hale Demaree, who posted 27 points. The dominant performance gave Demaree a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Almaguer, who had 15 points.

Columbia's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sealy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-41 win against Liberty on the 12th. Sealy has also already played their next match, a 69-42 victory against Yoakum on the 13th.
