South Bronx Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played South Bronx, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Cougars put the hurt on the Phoenix with a sharp 19-4 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Cougars have won five contests by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was South Bronx Prep's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for South Bronx, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, South Bronx Prep will welcome Bronx United at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pythons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 24.4 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Bronx, they will venture away from home to square off against Metropolitan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
