Baseball Recap: Lake Norman Charter Takes a Loss

Lake Norman Charter suffered their biggest loss since April 1st on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to the East Rowan Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-6 loss two weeks ago.

Lake Norman Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Wignot, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lake Norman Charter has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for East Rowan, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

As of now, neither Lake Norman Charter nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
