Riverdale got themselves on the board against Wonewoc-Center on Saturday, but Wonewoc-Center never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Chieftains, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Riverdale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wonewoc-Center, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will challenge Iowa-Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Chieftains surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wonewoc-Center, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Royall at 5:00 p.m.
