Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way East Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Downers Grove South the last time they met, Lincoln-Way East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Griffins walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17.

Nick Klawitter paced Lincoln-Way East's offense, picking up six kills. Klawitter got some help from Dylan Nanney and his 13 assists.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln-Way East will face off against Stagg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Downers Grove South, they will take on Willowbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
