Providence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the New Albany Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Providence of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

As for New Albany, they will head out on the road to take on Jeffersonville on Monday.
