Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Zion Braves vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers

The Mt. Zion Braves will challenge the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mt. Zion beat Mahomet-Seymour 63-57. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais entered their tilt with Lincoln-Way Central on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Knights 54-37.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Mt. Zion, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-6.
