Volleyball Recap: Addyson Gentry Key Part of Team Effort in Vikings Win

Tennessee won the last time they faced Daniel Boone and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Trailblazers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Tennessee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addyson Gentry led the charge by getting 19 digs and one assist. Gentry has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Curtin, who had eight digs and two aces.

Tennessee's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Daniel Boone, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Tennessee will face off against Dobyns-Bennett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Daniel Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
