Football Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Eureka's offense. They were beaten by the Ferndale Wildcats 58-0 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Loggers have suffered since October 4, 2024.

Prescott Langer produced another solid effort rushing for 175 yards and four scores on only 12 carries for Ferndale. Thanks to that big game, Langer is now up to 9 rushing touchdowns on the season. Ferndale also got a significant boost from Tanner Pidgeon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 126 yards.

Eureka is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Ferndale, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Eureka will square off against St. Bernard's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed five points per game this season, so the Loggers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ferndale, they will take on Hoopa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
