Volleyball Recap: Red Mesa Wins Going Away Against Pinon

Red Mesa hadn't done well against Pinon recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Redskins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The game marked the Redskins' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win made it two in a row for Red Mesa and bumps their season record up to 4-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-5 Pinon and 1-4 Hopi. As for Pinon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

After both having extra time off, Red Mesa and Rock Point will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Redskins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pinon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hopi on the 17th.
