Calumet New Tech's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 78-45 win over the Whiting Oilers. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Calumet New Tech was led to victory by Johnny Hudson and Eric Allen. Hudson went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds, while Allen went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawrence Wesby, who posted eight points.

The victory got Calumet New Tech back to even at 4-4. As for Whiting, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
