Baseball Recap: Geneva Eagles vs. Conneaut Spartans

Geneva put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past the Conneaut Spartans 15-4. Winning may never get old, but Geneva sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Shea Arkenburg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Arkenburg was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Hewitt Wilt and Curtis Maier did most of the damage at the plate: Wilt scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Maier scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
