Soccer Recap: Corcoran Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Corcoran had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kennedy Thunderbirds, sneaking past 1-0. Abraham Palomares had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Corcoran.

Corcoran is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-3 record this season. As for Kennedy, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-13-2.

Looking ahead, Corcoran will host Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
