Volleyball Recap: Altha Comes Up Short

Altha lost against Holmes County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Blue Devils.

Altha was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Holmes County work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 25-22, 26-16.

Altha's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Holmes County, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altha will head out to challenge Cottondale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Holmes County, they will square off against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
