Football Recap: Greece Athena Comes Up Short

The Greece Athena Trojans took a blow against the Batavia Blue Devils on Friday, falling 41-13. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 161st).

Greece Athena's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Batavia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Greece Athena is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Greece Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Batavia, they will host Cleveland Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
