            The Corinth Christian Academy Warriors will challenge Northside Christian Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Corinth Christian Academy has three straight  wins, Northside Christian Academy has three straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Corinth Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Brunswick Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's   game. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  15-3 victory on Thursday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 11  runs or more this season.

 Peyton Smith made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Corinth Christian Academy's success: when he posts  at  least two  stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  Jace Campbell was a standout: he scored four  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. What's more,  he posted two  hits, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.  Justin Tolle was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing five bases while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Northside Christian Academy came up short against Open Bible Christian on Thursday and fell  12-8.
 Corinth Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Northside Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Everything went Corinth Christian Academy's way against Northside Christian Academy in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, as Corinth Christian Academy made off with  a  13-1 win.
