Recap: Wayland Warriors vs. Diman RVT Bengals

The Wayland Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Diman RVT. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Diman RVT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sam Perry, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony DeJesus, who scored 17 points.

Wayland bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Diman RVT, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Wayland will head out on the road to face off against Weston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Diman RVT will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Old Colony RVT at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th.
